Drivers & Software as long as it's Win 7 64 bit as this my computer spec ?ĭ/product/81496/Intel- HD-Graphics-4600-for-4th-Generation-Intel-Core-Processors. I mean, I may choose whatever driver listed in the link you provide. I wonder, if it doesn't matter which driver to download although on the driver's page i5-4460 is not listed ? In this page, there are a lot of drivers to choose and after clink each link, I found that there are 4 type of drivers which meet my i5-4460 (because it's listed). Drivers & Softwareĭ/product/81496/Intel- HD-Graphics-4600-for-4th-Generation-Intel-Core-Processorsīut then I realize, I've visited that page and I did mention of this page in my second post. Thank you for your explanation and the link you provide. Thank you once again for your respond, Esteban.
I will first try to look around in the net, or maybe trying to find a small application which need OpenGL feature and have a look whether the app find it or not. I look forward to hearing from you and the outcome on this.įor the time being, I think I will not updat the HD4600 graphic driver yet as I feel it's not the HD4600 problem. Some settings changes could help with this. Now my strong feeling about the "problem" is not from HD4600 but something else. I've already searched from the internet in case there is similar problem like mine (After Effect user facing similar OpenGL issue with HD4600), but I didn't find it. I should also check about Adobe software. Regarding the software not detecting OpenGL (supported up to 4 by your Intel® HD Graphics 4600), have you checked with the software developer support to find any additional troubleshooting on this? What I found from the list is i5-5xxx above. I wonder why the i5-4460 (and also HD4600) is not listed on that page, ya ? The driver provided by Al should work with your system. Thank you once again for your kind respond, All Hill. It confuse me which one that I should choose. There are four drivers where each page say it support i5 4460 and can be use for HD4600. Your processor can be found here: Intel® Core™ i5-4460 Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.40 GHz) Specifications I've been thinking that it's rather weird if it is because of an outdated driver After Effect can not find it while I just bought my computer last year. I wonder why my Adobe After Effect can not find the OpenGL of HD 4600 ? Intel HD Graphics 4600 supports OpenGL 4 as per this document " 4th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors"
